Globetrotter. Travel bloggers. Amateur photographers. And since 2020 also designers of world maps. We have consistently developed an idea that was originally only intended for our own living room into a comprehensive, unique world map concept. Our motto: Designed. Detailed. Well thought out.

Experience meets passion

The love of travel and a flair for good design have characterized us for over 25 years. Having learned the profession of graphic designer from scratch, we are now leading a communications and brand agency. As a service provider with a great deal of passion and experience, we help brands to achieve greater visibility and success. What we are particularly good at: Thinking complex things simply!

Travel gives us the energy for everyday life. We travel the world as often as our calendar allows. And we share those experiences on our travel blog The Breuers.

We pool all our experiences from work and travel in Breuer's World Maps. Our goal: Giving your personal travel memories a unique home through customizable, versatile and high-quality world and country maps.

An idea – born for our living room

Our passion for travel was the impetus for this world map project in 2020: For many years, we were looking for a large world map for our living room. Although there is a wide range of world maps on the market, we couldn't find anything that appealed to our design-loving hearts. Most world maps are too colorful, too playful – and sometimes of poor quality. As professional graphic designers, we set to work ourselves: With great attention to detail, we spent over 150 hours painstakingly designing our first world map by hand. → Our vision: To create a world map that is as minimalist as possible, with a combination of clear lines, minimalist colors and clear, legible typography that harmonizes perfectly. And we succeeded!

Further development of the world map concept

In the next step, we systematically developed this prototype into a multi-layered world map concept. A wide range of configuration options was just as important to us as a high-quality implementation. The selection of materials and the production of the pin canvases was a long process. We painstakingly created print samples and tested a wide variety of canvas materials and inks. In all our decisions, we never lost sight of sustainability – everything had to be as environmentally friendly as possible. → Our aim: To develop a product that we can not only hang on our own walls – but that we can also offer to our customers with full conviction!

The map family is growing – with variety that inspires

This is followed by a map of Europe and Germany as well as various other country maps. All with a high density of place markers, a finely detailed network of roads and the most important national parks, rivers and lakes. The focus is always on making each map as minimalist as possible, but with maximum detail. We also take into account the wishes of our customers. We also think about other materials: from posters and wallpaper to solid magnetic boards. All products have one thing in common: We always use materials from leading brand manufacturers to guarantee high quality. We have also succeeded in doing this. The very good feedback from our customers confirms this!
